The Second Chinese Grains & Oils Congress 2026 Concludes in Shanghai, Bringing Together Key Players from the Agricultural and Oils & Fats Industries

The final stage of the event was a meeting between representatives
of Kazakhstan and China hosted by Yihai Kerry, one of the largest
agribusiness holdings in China and part of the international
corporation Wilmar International. Today, the group operates more
than 100 production facilities across strategically important regions
of the country.
Representatives of industry associations, businesses, and sector
organizations from both countries took part in the meeting. Among
them were executives of the China Vegetable Oil Association, senior
management of Yihai Kerry, as well as representatives of the National
Association of Oilseed Processors of Kazakhstan (NOPA) and leading
processing enterprises.
Participants reviewed the outcomes of the conference and discussed
prospects for further cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the
oils and fats sector. Particular attention was given to expanding
trade volumes, identifying new growth opportunities, and addressing
existing barriers in international commerce.
